Difference Jesus has made in my life. How it changed me, how it formed me.
by Diane Goulet
I was born and raised Catholic. Therefore from the time I was very small, Jesus has been in my life. From as far back as I can remember, my mother taught me a prayer which I still say before going to bed, and which I have taught all my children and grandchildren. Jesus is in my life and I can’t see being able to live without Him.
From my parents I learned the way Jesus asked us to live: love of neighbour, tolerance, forgiveness, patience, sharing, and the gift of myself, tenderness, courage, faith, hope, generosity and prayer. I found that Jesus is an example to strive to follow. He is my ALL, my reason to live, my confidant, my saviour and I realize that without him life would have no purpose. I cannot live without prayers. Jesus is my faith, my hope and my promise for eternal life. He is LOVE.
I think of him as being my big brother who does not ask questions of me, he loves me as I am. God is His father and mine. The Blessed Virgin Mary is His mother and mine. He is my Redeemer He took all my sins and died on the cross to save me and all mankind.
How could He not make a difference in my life.
